Develpoment of The Pandemic Anxiety Scale

It is aimed to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool that will help evaluate anxiety related pandemic in this study. Quantitative research method conducted For data analysis, it collected two stages from 627 individuals aged 18 older who lives various regions provinces of Turkey. Both construct validity criteria are used ensure validity. validity, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) exploratory (EFA) conducted. Reliability the enabled by calculating Cronbach alpha internal consistency coefficient item-total score correlation coefficients. As result noticed Pandemic Anxiety Scale (PAS) explains 56.54% total variance, scale consists 26 items gathered four factors: contagion anxiety, somatic responses, psychosocial effects dysfunctional beliefs. According can be said structure revealed EFA has been confirmed.
